Right... right. It'd made sense to Jin at the time, for God knows what reason-- knowing full well that Asher could've gotten hurt, or worse, he'd still called. He could've been killed. Jin digests that troubling realization a little, as the healing orb continues its effects. At least the pain's fading away.]

Starting to figure that out, yeah. [Jin mutters, resigned.

He's gotten into worse scrapes. Surely, he's been closer to death than this. But for some reason, this feels worse. Jin squeezes his eyes tight, banishing the thoughts.]

[Kind words of encouragement, no matter how few and far between, always manage to make Asher feel a little better. Zenyatta's gentleness is palpable, unlike his father's cold words and Annalise's constant dissatisfaction. For the first time in a long while, he doesn't feel like a disappointment.

I-- I mean, yeah, [Jin corrects himself, looking anxiously between both of his friends standing over him. He's fairly certain Asher didn't bring a horse, and the prospect of walking all the way back in his state doesn't sound promising, no matter how mortified he's going to be about having to be chauffeured over.]

[Walking all the way here was stupid, probably. Asher knows that now.

He too had let himself be guided by his emotions, and ran this far fraught with worry and half-panic. Unlike Jin, he hasn't suffered several blows to the head, and can be trusted to make somewhat more rational decisions.]

Jin's not in any place to argue, so he swings his legs over the edge of the bed, standing carefully-- his legs don't give when his weight's on them, which he appreciates, seeing as this whole evening's been pretty damn mortifying already to say the least.

He can walk to a robot horse. Just pay attention to that, Jin...]

You got it. [he doesn't sound especially excited. He's ready for the night to be over too.]

[Asher hovers close to Jin, eyeing Zenyatta with gratitude. If it weren't for him, Jin might have not made it through the night.

He touches his friend's shoulder gently, leaning over to speak to him in an almost whisper.]

Hey, if you don't wanna head back to wherever it was that you were staying...
